We offer you the opportunity to become a Level 1 Instructor in Infantry Melee Weapon Combatives for self-defense purposes. In this course, you will learn how to use five typical infantry melee weapons, with battle-tested skills that can be readily transferred to everyday environmental weapons in real-life self-defense situations. We focus on both the physical and mental aspects of combat, training you like a recruit—similar to the way military personnel are trained.

Rather than compressing an entire instructor education into a single intensive weekend (what is silly), our program follows a structured pathway that combines long-term preparation with an intensive live certification camp, allowing knowledge, skills, and teaching ability to develop progressively over time.

IMC Curriculum 

In this program, you will learn essential battle-tested techniques and tactics applicable to real-life confrontations. Specific scenarios: such as facing a knife attacker, fighting in confined spaces, or dealing with multiple opponents, are integral parts of the curriculum.

You will be trained to use five different melee weapons to defend against a variety of attacks.

This curriculum is primarily built on functional building blocks from Historical European Martial Arts (WWI and WWII). It also draws from modern military training and patterns seen in real-life violence today, stripped down to the core essentials to ensure practical proficiency.
